As the industry transitions from flat 2D images to real-time 3D for gaming, consumer and automotive applications, Spansion's high-density NOR Flash memory and its high-speed random read performance is a key requirement to improve the user experience. The 2Gb Spansion GL-S is the first NOR product of this density on the market, is based on Spansion's proprietary MirrorBit® charge-trapping technology, and demonstrates another milestone in delivering high performance products based on the leading-edge MirrorBit technology.
