Rosetta began working with Special Olympics New Jersey in 2011, donating the services of their innovative design and marketing team to enhance and elevate the non-profit's brand positioning and develop an online marketing strategy. In addition to the website launch, Rosetta developed and integrated all social media components – including Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and a WordPress blog – and is leading the strategy and execution of a digital media and outdoor advertising campaign. Website banners that will run on NJ.com and radio ads that promote 'Genuine Jersey Pride' will run on the FM Station NJ101.5, beginning next week. Additional components include e-newsletters and out of home ads (bus & rail) that are expected to run in the coming months.
Rosetta was honored last month at the Special Olympics New Jersey Awards Dinner as a Champion Partner for the dedicated and passionate work done on behalf of the organization. Rosetta team members were called up to accept an award and were listed in the program as a Champion Partner (the highest level of partnership) to the organization.
"From the beginning of our relationship, the Rosetta Team has demonstrated a sincere passion and pride in creating and executing an extraordinary strategy for Special Olympics New Jersey to advance the lives of the athletes we serve," stated Marc Edenzon, President of Special Olympics New Jersey. "Rosetta is a true partner to Special Olympics New Jersey and they have positioned our organization for program expansion and outreach going into the 2014 USA Games and beyond."
"If I were new to Special Olympics New Jersey, I would be extremely impressed and engaged with this site," said Larry Hanko, the parent of an SONJ athlete and a coach. "There is a very easy way to register an athlete, info about various sports I might want to consider, the rules of these sports and info if I wanted to get more involved as a coach. The athlete photos would give me hope that one day, my child might be pictured here and achieve success in sport."
Special Olympics New Jersey currently serves more than 22,000 children and adults in New Jersey and conducts nearly 200 competitions and fundraisers each year with the help of a network of 20,000 volunteers.
"Special Olympics New Jersey does so much genuine good for the children and adults across New Jersey with intellectual disabilities, and we're proud to support their important work by helping them to develop a premier online presence that will grow its base of passionate and loyal supporters through stronger connections and drive greater awareness for the organization," said Rosetta Group Creative Director Doug Rockhill.
Rosetta, which is headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, operates as an independent brand in the Publicis Groupe of global agencies and is one of the nation's largest digital and direct interactive agencies. The Special Olympics New Jersey project is being managed out of Rosetta's New Jersey headquarters.
