Specialty Foods Group Inc. announces a delay in filing its first quarter 2012 MD&A and financial statements

HAMPTON, VA, May 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Specialty Foods Group, Inc. ("SFG" or the "Company") announced today that there will be a delay in filing its first quarter 2012 MD&A and financial statements.  The Company is still working with a third party advisor to evaluate the effects of the recapitalization of the debentures and related warrants issued during the first quarter of 2012 as described in the 2011 annual financial statements. The Company expects this evaluation to be completed before July 16, 2012 and file on or before this date.
