Spirit AeroSystems Aftermarket Receives High Performing Partner Award from Cathay Pacific Airways

WICHITA, Kan., Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (NYSE: SPR) Aftermarket Customer Support (ACS) was recently recognized with the High Performing Partner Award from Cathay Pacific Airways. In 2008, Spirit AeroSystems received a contract to provide overhaul, repair, and modification services for Cathay Pacific Airways' fleet of 777 Trent 800 thrust reversers. The repair work is performed at Taikoo Spirit AeroSystems Composite Co. Ltd., a joint venture with Spirit ACS, HAECO/TAECO and others, in Jinjiang, China. Spirit AeroSystems is the Trent 800 nacelle and thrust reverser original production manufacturer.
