Spring Headliners Unveiled For Tallahassee's Capital City Amphitheater At Cascades Park

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Thanks to a landscape highlighted with dogwoods, azaleas and camellias, springtime is one of the most colorful times of the year in Florida's capital city, but this year, expect even more color thanks to concerts by the Pink Floyd Experience and The Avett Brothers at the Capital City Amphitheater at Cascades Park.

Visit Tallahassee – the official tourism marketing organization for Leon County – announced that tickets for the Pink Floyd Experience on March 3 at 7:30 p.m. and The Avett Brothers concert on April 10 at 8:00 p.m. are on sale now at www.CapitalCityAmphitheater.com.

The Pink Floyd Experience (PFX) is much more than a reproduction of popular, legendary songs that span decades. PFX reflects everything that made Pink Floyd one of rock and roll's greatest idols through a celebration of the themes, music and a laser light show seen by nearly a half-million concert fans in the U.S.

In their 13 years of performing and touring, The Avett Brothers performed on popular television shows such as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live and debuted on Billboard's Top 200 for "The Carpenter" album. Popular songs like "January Weddings" put the group on Rolling Stone Magazine's "artist to watch" list in 2009 and the group performed "Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

Tickets can be purchased online, at gate, or through the box office at (850) 671-4700, Monday-Friday from 12-6 p.m. Add $5 to all tickets purchased at gate.
