SpringHill Suites Oceanside Downtown Hires Karla Sweeney as Director of Sales and Marketing

OCEANSIDE, Calif., Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The SpringHill Suites San Diego Oceanside/Downtown is gearing up for its February 2014 opening and is excited to announce the addition of Karla Sweeney as Director of Sales and Marketing.  The SpringHill Suites will open in Oceanside, California as a contemporary modern hotel with unique amenities including a roof top pool, scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and Hello Betty, a unique fish house concept by restaurateur, Peter Karpinski.

Sweeney brings more than 10 years in the hospitality industry including experience with Marriott International properties.  Her experience as Director of Sales and Marketing includes Staybridge Suites Sorrento Mesa in San Diego and Staybridge Suites IHG Hotels – Milpitas and San Jose.  She displays a passion for customer relations as well as dynamic leadership capabilities.  In her role at the SpringHill Suites Oceanside, Sweeney will lead the sales team in driving sales in bookings as well as securing meetings, groups, weddings and events in the 2,235 square feet of meeting space in the beach-front hotel.
