SPYR Signs Second Publishing Agreement With Kemojo Studios
DENVER, Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SPYR, INC. (OTCQB: SPYR), a holding company with wholly owned subsidiaries in both the mobile game & app development and publishing industry, and in the restaurant industry, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, SPYR APPS, LLC, has entered into its second publishing agreement with Kemojo Studios, this time to publish its upcoming game, Battlewack: Idle Lords.
Battlewack: Idle Lords is a free to play battle game in which players hire a team of heroes to crush waves of their enemies. The game is similar in concept to Kemojo's successful game, Tap Cats: Idle Warfare, but has a completely different design concept aimed more at mid-core gamers and allowing for grouped multi-player play.
Battlewack falls into the idle genre, which is perfect for mobile devices as it allows the game to progress while the player is away. The heroes will continue to battle in "offline mode," earning experience points and gold. The player can then log back into the game at any time to spend those earnings on upgrading the heroes allowing them to defeat stronger enemies. Like with Tap Cats, heroes can be collected, upgraded and evolved. Players can purchase rare heroes to speed up their progression and defeat more complex challenges.
Kemojo Studios (www.kemojo.com), the game's developer, is a Vancouver-based game company, which has developed numerous successful mobile games, including Undead City Run, Tap Cats: Idle Warfare and Drone: Shadow Strike.
