Square Enix's Highly Anticipated Action RPG Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Launches Today

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Square Enix Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced that its action role-playing game (RPG), LIGHTNING RETURNS™: FINAL FANTASY® XIII, is now available in North America for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and for digital download on the PlayStation®Network and Xbox 360 Games on Demand. New and old fans of the series can now completely immerse themselves in this epic finale to Lightning's saga.

Featuring a brand-new story, world, characters and an enhanced gameplay system, LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII allows players direct control over iconic heroine in a constantly moving, expansive environment, as she quests to save a doomed world from complete destruction.

Both DLC will be available for $3.99. Additionally, original Japanese Voice-Overs are available from today until February 25 as a free download. Following this two-week period, the Japanese Voice-Over Pack will be available for $3.99.

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII is now available for the PlayStation®3 system and Xbox 360 systems, as well as a digital download on the PlayStation®Network and Xbox 360 Games on Demand, for $59.99. The collector's edition will be available in limited quantities for both platforms and will be sold exclusively at the Square Enix Online Store for $89.99.
