LOS ANGELES, April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stack Wines announces their newest retailer – Meijer – the Michigan-based "one-stop shopping" grocery store and supercenter. Product will now be sold in all 144 Meijer locations throughout Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, & Ohio. Stack Wines is the sleek and practical "four pack" of stemless wine glasses that vertically stack to form the equivalent of one full bottle of wine.

"It is a very exciting time for Stack Wines as we are now at the brink of national distribution in just our sophomore year," says Jodi Wynn, VP of Marketing and co-founder of Stack Wines. "This announcement is only natural as both companies are pioneers in the respective industries."

Stack Wines is a unique concept that is a complete deviation from any traditional wine packaging vehicle. The elegant stemless "glasses" come pre-filled with premium California wine, zipped into a colorful shrink-sleeve. Consumers simply zip, snap and sip – zip loose the sleeve, snap apart the glasses, and peel back a foil seal to sip.

The single-serve, ready-to-drink stacks of wine will hit shelves at Meijer grocery and supercenter stores immediately retailing between $11.99-$12.99. For more information, please visit

Creator and packaging engineer, Matt Zimmer, was tired of drinking wine that grew stale in a matter of days and knew he could invent a better packaging solution that combined portability with stylish design. He succeeded in creating a 100% recyclable packaging solution that not only preserves wine longer but allows wine drinkers to enjoy single-serve glasses at home or wine to go, Stack Wines was formally launched when Zimmer teamed up with fellow MBA alumni Jodi Wynn and Doug Allan. Since 2011, Stack Wines has redefined consumption possibilities and revolutionized single-serving technology.

Meijer is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based retailer that operates almost 200 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
