Stacy Keibler Partners with Valspar Paint® to Announce the Extension of the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee™ and the Guaranteed $21 Million Donation The Valspar Foundation Has Committed to Habitat for Humanity

NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Valspar, once again, is delivering on its promise to help people connect to the power in color by extending the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee™. To celebrate the extension of this unique color assurance program, Valspar has teamed up with actress and personality Stacy Keibler to announce The Valspar Foundation's guaranteed commitment of more than $21 million in cash and paint donations beginning this year through 2014 to Habitat for Humanity.

Keibler will also launch the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee Project, an interactive program that invites participants to support Habitat for Humanity by virtually painting houses through the Valspar Facebook Page. For every home virtually painted between October 24 and November 7, 2012, Valspar will donate $1 to Habitat, up to $50,000, with a minimum donation of $25,000. Fans of Valspar Paint simply click the "color you love" button on the Facebook app to help raise funds for Habitat to build homes, community and hope.

The Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee is the color assurance program that provides support in the paint color selection process by offering a complimentary replacement color to anyone who does not absolutely love their first color choice. Because of the positive consumer appreciation for the guarantee, the program is now extended through October 7, 2013.

This announcement follows the recent celebration of World Habitat Day. The United Nations General Assembly in 1985 declared the first Monday in October to be World Habitat Day, calling attention to the pivotal role of housing in a neighborhood's progression. Habitat for Humanity commemorated this day, themed Many Homes, One Community, by advocating around the world in support of the need for safe, decent and affordable shelter.
