Stanley Graubart celebrates his path towards becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist.
SAN CARLOS, Calif., Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Stanley Graubart wishes to celebrate his life as a successful therapist in the area of Marriage and Family counseling. Although he did not originally intend on becoming involved with the field of psychology, he cannot express how happy he is to have discovered his true calling. He enjoys spending time with his patients and getting to learn everything he can about them. His education and experience is something that Stanley Graubart uses to help his patients in the most effective ways possible.
His career path started when Stanley Graubart was young, however it was not initially in the field of psychology. In 1957, he went to college to learn about business. He first earned his bachelor's degree in business, which he then followed up with a master's earned at the San Francisco State University in 1962. After only a couple of years in the field however, Stanly Graubart felt the need to go back to school for a different field. In 1964, he attended the University of San Francisco in order to earn a Pupil, Personnel Credential. This credential allowed Stanley Graubart to become a high school counselor.
Now in the public school system, Stanley Graubart was able to assist and guide students in a number of ways. Not only did he have the credentials to be a counselor, but a teacher as well. Stanley Graubart taught business studies where he enjoyed teaching students about a subject very similar to what would one day be his profession. He was also a counselor, where he helped guide students towards success in their academics. Eventually, he became a Department Head, where he oversaw the nuts and bolts of his department, ensuring it was on the right track. He held this position for 1 year, but eventually sought out a more challenging position as a community college counselor. He aided students in the California-based community college for 25 years, before deciding to take his counseling abilities to the next level.
In the early 1980's, Stanley Graubart decided to go back to the university school system once again in order to get an education in the field of psychology. After many years of hard work and dedication, Stanley Graubart earned his M.A. in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. His hard work was not over however, as he then had to attain a license to practice therapy. In 1988, he earned a Marriage and Family Therapy License. He has been using this license in his successful practice ever since.
Stanley Graubart is regularly involved in extensive reading and research, which allows him to provide the highest quality therapeutic work to his many clients. Stanley Graubart says, "This is my life's passion, and my work helps me to feel positive, energized, and motived. I work to teach my clients that learning to create the change they wish to seek can be just as energizing."
To this day, Stanley Graubart is just as dedicated to his work as ever; he continues to strive towards excellence and works hard to ensure that his clients benefit from his dedication by learning to live happier and emotionally healthier lives.
