StarDyne / Diamond Acquires Dreamstalk Studios Inc.
KELOWNA, British Columbia, June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Municipal Solutions ("Diamond"), a subsidiary of StarDyne Technologies Inc. ("StarDyne") announced today that it has acquired Dreamstalk Studios Inc., a provider of content management and web site software and solutions to the K-12 market. Dreamstalk was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
This acquisition expands StarDyne's reach into the K-12 education market, where it already serves school districts and schools in the U.S. and Canada. Dreamstalk provides content management and web site software and services using a scalable cloud-based SaaS model. They currently have over 50% of education authorities in the Province of Alberta using their solution.
This acquisition will also see Brad Leitch, the founder of Dreamstalk, join the Diamond team as Manager, Product Strategy and Delivery. The unique combination of skillsets and experience between Diamond and Dreamstalk will allow Diamond to pursue several new technology initiatives such as the development of a content management system specifically for the local government market.
Through ongoing product development and the support of its new parent and sister companies, Dreamstalk is well positioned to continue to provide its customers with excellent software solutions and to accelerate its growth in the K-12 and other new markets.
