Stars from American Idol, The Voice & Top Tribute Bands Shine at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Aventura Palace

CANCUN, Mexico, Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Connection Productions brought down the house with their latest All Access Experience at the recent Summer of Covers event! From June 27^th to August 11^th, guests of the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Aventura Palace (soon-to-be rebranded Hard Rock Hotel Rivera Maya) were taken on a musical journey with the nation's top tribute bands and stars from American Idol and The Voice.

From pool parties to costume dance parties this was a vacation to remember. The guests were immersed in the rock and roll lifestyle as they posed on the red carpet, won autographed guitars, autographed drumsticks and even all-inclusive vacations! There was never a dull moment.

To kick it off, The Landsharks Band took the stage and set the vacation mood with classic Beach Boys favorites and tropical tunes! With leis and grass skirts scattered through the crowd all topped with a killer hula hoop contest the guests were on their feet the whole time!  

Then it was an All Star Weekend with celebrities from American Idol and The Voice!  The artists broke down the walls between them and the audience in an intimate supper club setting and got up close and personal with the guests as they sang songs spanning generations from the 60's to now.  Karen Rodriquez and Julio Castillo even broke into a Spanish duet for all the Spanish-speaking guests!

The Landsharks Band returned for their encore calling all Parrot Heads to get their fins up and rock out in honor of Jimmy Buffet! As guests posed for their best island rock star photo on the red carpet they got the chance to win an autographed guitar by the band! Our lucky winner couldn't wait to get back to Canada and learn to play.

And what would classic tunes be without the Beatles? We welcomed Paperback Writer for a Beatles Experience that brought fans from all generations together! From the guests who broke out their Beatles blanket and t-shirts to four-year-old Regina Vega who danced her heart out on stage; these guys were a hit!

To really get in character, Purple Reign, a Prince Tribute band, preformed in perfect costume for this 80's and 90's week! The crowd was entranced by the raw energy that reflected Prince in his prime and emulated that in their rock star poses on the red carpet.

And we wrapped up this crazy summer, with Lynyrd Skynyrd & Frynds! The classic southern rock had guests air guitar rocking, fist pumping and even crowd surfing! It was the perfect hard rock jam to bring the event to a close.
