About the Barnstable Brown Gala: The celebrity packed gala, which last year raised and donated $1,000,000 to the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky, is in its 23rd year. Founded by twin sisters Patricia Barnstable Brown and Priscilla Barnstable, along with Patricia's late husband Dr. David E. Brown, this year's gala will be held on Friday, May 6, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
