SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 15, 2011./PRNewswire/ -- VivaAerobus, Mexico's ultra low cost carrier, announced today the start of operations of its new route, San Antonio – Monterrey, with a frequency of three flights a week at a total price starting at $79 dollars.
With the operation of this new route, VivaAerobus now serves six destinations in the US connecting with the capital city of the state of Nuevo Leon, Monterrey.

Further, many of those travelers who visit these two destinations traditionally resort to road travel, and now they will be able to be in either Monterrey or San Antonio in a quick 1 hour and 25 minutes.
With the kick off of this new route, VivaAerobus is positioned as the Mexican airline with greater direct connectivity to the US market from Monterrey.
Now, many of those living in San Antonio and who have family, friends, and business ties with Monterrey, will have the option of visiting them at the lowest cost available in the market.
And VivaAerobus not only offers low cost air travel, but also the option of the ViajaFacil service, which connects via ground transportation on buses from the Noreste, ETN, and Omnibus de Mexico lines, to nearby cities including Saltillo, San Luis Potosi, Torreon, Tampico, or Zacatecas, among others, at a 75% discount on these bus fares.
