MIAMI, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 1, Miami welcomes the US premiere of "The Art of Banksy," an acclaimed showcase featuring 80 original works created by the most intriguing and talked-about artist in modern history. "The Art of Banksy" has already generated excitement in Melbourne, Tel Aviv and Toronto, with Miami now playing host to this spectacular exhibit.
Banksy, whose identity is the art world's biggest secret, is an enigmatic artist and world-recognized political activist. His graffiti-influenced stencil technique, often combined with anti-establishment slogans, is immediately recognizable and never fails to generate attention.
"The Art of Banksy," curated by Steve Lazarides, Banksy's former agent, displays the world's largest collection of his works and only features pieces that were created by Banksy for private art collectors. Included in the exhibition is the iconic "Balloon Girl" piece, and many other paintings and sculptures, no less compelling and equally thought-provoking.
To celebrate the opening, the exhibition is partnering with the Magic City Innovation District Foundation and local organizations to give away 50,000 tickets to local children.
Worldwide demand for "The Art of Banksy" is off-the-charts, so the exhibit will be in Miami for a limited time.
