State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Selects Blue Point System to Provide Mobility Solutions and Services

DALLAS, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- All State of Texas agencies, local government entities, and DIR customers in Texas can now purchase the best-in-class mobility management solution, MobileIron, through Blue Point System.  As organizations adopt mobile devices into their enterprise network, this emerging product category is one of the most desired solutions in today's information technology procurement list.  The DIR-SDD-1774 contract will provide access to products for cloud or on-premise deployments and will give IT Departments greater provisioning capabilities, device authorization and control, and mobile management at the device level when used by government employees.  Mobile device visibility is critical for enterprises, enabling IT Managers to know who is accessing corporate resources and to secure how those resources are being utilized on mobile devices.
