Marine Colonel Doug Applegate has the right profile to represent California’s 49th District in Congress. Doug has lived and worked in the 49th Congressional District for over 30 years and raised his family here. In 2016 Doug ran against entrenched incumbent Darrell Issa, and came within 1,621 votes of beating the richest man in Congress. Doug immediately signed up to run again in 2018, vowing to the finish the job he started and give the 49th the representation it truly deserves.
