Statement by Major John P. Murray, Divisional Secretary for Public Relations and Development, Ontario Central-East Division, The Salvation Army
TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - The Salvation Army wishes to thank and commend the Toronto Police Service for its cooperation and continuing dedication to investigating the alleged crimes committed against us.
As we have stated publicly in the past, we have not had a business or personal relationship of any kind with the second individual arrested or his company, as named in numerous media reports this morning.
We are well on our way to helping to make this Christmas a special time for thousands of families, something which would not have been possible without the police and the generosity of many businesses and people in our communities.
