Pima County Medical Examiner Changes Manner of Death of Miriam Joan Browning From Suicide to Undetermined
NEW YORK, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chief Medical Examiner of Pima County has changed the manner of death in the case of Miriam Joan Browning from "suicide" to "undetermined."
Ms. Browning died in an incident at the Sahuarita Rd. overpass at I-19 in Pima County on December 10, 2010, following the blow-out of her right front tire. The autopsy report concluded that the cause of death was multiple blunt injuries and the manner of death was suicide.
Following a review of the evidence and circumstances surrounding the death of Ms. Browning, the Chief Medical Officer of Pima County ruled that the manner of death is undetermined.
Ms. Browning, a 30 year resident of Green Valley, made many contributions to the civic life of Pima County as a leader of numerous projects and organizations to improve the life of her community. Her contributions to the county were well known and were extensively reported at the time of her death.
