Stay Alfred makes Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing private companies
Vacation rental company ranks 468th on the 2016 Inc. 500 with three-year sales growth of 814%
SPOKANE, Wash. & NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. magazine today ranked Spokane-based Stay Alfred Vacation Rentals number 468 on its 2016 Inc. 500 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Stay Alfred is the first nationwide downtown vacation rental company, which provides guests with a consistent, hotel-style lodging experience city to city.
"Roughly 50 percent of all startups fail within their first five years," writes Leigh Buchanan, editor-at-large for Inc. "Many others struggle to stay afloat, let alone grow. But these founders have not merely survived, they've excelled--becoming the heroes of the most terrifying, exhausting, and exhilarating journey of their lives."
Stay Alfred's meteoric growth -- 814% in the three-year period ending in 2015 and $13.1 million in revenue, places it squarely within the elite Inc. 500, the topmost subset of the Inc. 5000 list.
"The secret to Stay Alfred's growth without taking any outside funding is our people," said Stay Alfred Founder and CEO Jordan Allen. "Spokane is packed with educated, enthusiastic people who meet our core values and want to help create an entirely new segment in the hospitality industry that offers consistently amazing hotel-style accommodations in high-end downtown apartment buildings."
Stay Alfred is one of only six honorees working in the travel and hospitality space, an industry dominated by hotel and airline behemoths. The company has more than doubled its vacation rental property inventory in each of the last four years, and intends to continue to grow in existing and new markets. The company applies a combination of aggressive expansion, proprietary revenue management algorithms, world class relationship management, and a value proposition that tantalizes leisure and business travelers and attracts real estate partners.
The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to revenue growth from 2012 through 2015. To qualify, a company must have been U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent. Revenue in 2012 must have been at least $100,000 with revenue of at least $2-million in 2015.
Stay Alfred currently offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom downtown vacation rental properties in 12 of America's favorite cities: Boston, Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Portland, San Antonio, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
Stay Alfred accepts guest reservations 24 hours a day. Guests will find prices similar to those of an upscale hotel, despite three times the square-footage, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and equipped kitchens and laundry. They can take virtual tours and book online at StayAlfred.com or call (855) 481-2799 to speak with a reservationist.
