WATTSBURG, Pa., April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- High Point Products, which has been a leader in useful and unique tree stand accessories, has launched another great product. The stand-mountable smart phone holder allows anyone hands-free recording of their hunts. No need to pack a camera or wish you had one with you. The camera holder (http://hparchery.com/product/smart-phone-stand-mount/) quickly mounts to nearly any standard tree stand without the use of tools, and any size smart phone quickly clips into the device. Perhaps the best feature of this device is that it is priced at only $24 USD.
Convenience and price are only a couple of the features that Rick Leasure (Founder of High Point Products) incorporated into this great product. In addition, this product comes with an accessory attachment to connect a Go-Pro® to your stand. A hunter can still attach any standard camera using this same setup. The versatility of this camera holder makes it the perfect choice for anyone, regardless of recording device, to be able to quickly and conveniently record his or her hunt. Plus this product is great for keeping up with phone correspondences, weather, maps and other mobile tools all while keeping movement to a minimum.
Leasure explains the design inspiration for High Point's newest product:
"I designed the ultimate camera holder for the hunter. I myself use it when I am on stand, to not only record hunts, but also to conveniently track weather and send text messages without digging in my pocket for my phone every ten minutes. "
Another aspect of this product is that nearly every tree stand will accept High Point's stand attachment, even round tube stands. Without the need for any tools, the camera holder base and control stick mounts to 1" and 3/4" square tube stands as well as 1" and 3/4" round tube stands. The round tube stands do require an additional round tube clamp that High Point sells for an affordable $6 USD. Regardless of round or square tubing, the device attaches with a couple of wing nuts in less than 30 seconds.
James Moelk, one of the early testers through development, categorizes this product as necessary gear:
"I immediately saw the advantages of this product, and I ensure it is with me every time I am on stand. It is a helpful extra hand in the stand."
High Point Archery began selling this product at the beginning of March 2015, and is expecting to sell thousands to hunters for Father's Day and this upcoming hunting season. Rick Leasure says he has ramped up production to prepare for the demand this season, and is confident there will plenty of inventory available.
