Steel Partners Holdings L.P. Reports Third Quarter Financial Results

NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Steel Partners Holdings L.P. (NYSE: SPLP) ("SPLP" or the "Company"), a global, diversified holding company, today announced operating results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2012. SPLP reported revenue of $204.5 million for the quarter, as compared to $172.4 million for the same period of 2011. Income before taxes and equity method investments was $10.6 million in the third quarter of 2012, as compared to $12.5 million in 2011. Net income attributable to the Company's common unitholders for the third quarter of 2012 was $3.5 million, or $0.11 per diluted common unit, as compared to net loss of $12.4 million, or $0.75 per diluted common unit, for the same period in 2011.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2012 revenues were $612.0 million, as compared to $544.6 million for the same period in 2011. Income before taxes and equity method investments was $40.4 million for the nine months of 2012, as compared to $38.9 million in 2011. Net income attributable to the Company's common unitholders for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 was $39.2 million, or $1.33 per diluted common unit, as compared to $12.7 million, or $0.21 per diluted common unit, for the same period of 2011.
