SteelCloud Achieves Milestone for Hosted BlackBerry Services
Signs 150th Hosting Service Partner
ASHBURN, Va., June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SteelCloud, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SCLD) a leading integrator of mobility computing appliance solutions and BlackBerry® Elite Alliance Member, today announced that it has reached an agreement with its 150th hosting partner to offer hosted BlackBerry® services. SteelCloud's hosting partnerships have grown 50% in the last three months and monthly recurring hosting revenue now exceed a $1,000,000 annual run rate.
By signing on with SteelCloud, hosters receive BlackBerry® Enterprise Server licensing with no upfront license fees. Hosters only pay monthly license fees for their actual usage. The monthly license fees paid by hosters includes BlackBerry Technical Support Services (T-Support), giving them direct access to technical experts. In addition to license management, they also have the option to deploy the SteelCloud SteelWorks® appliance solution for rapid implementation of BlackBerry Enterprise Server, either at the hoster or the client site.
"Going from 100 to 150 partners in less than three months is a tremendous achievement and has exceeded our projections," said Brian Hajost, SteelCloud's President and CEO. "Even more significant to the Company has been the steady increase in monthly revenue from our partners. With our recent expansion into Australia and New Zealand we are now supporting hosting partners on every continent."
SteelCloud was a sponsor and exhibitor at WES 2010, Research In Motion's annual user conference where it made several major product announcements that include the SteelWorks® XPRESS™ appliance, for companies planning to deploy BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express; and SteelWorks Transporter+™, an application designed to simplify migrating users from BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4 to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.
