Stein Mart Supports Dignity U Wear With Nationwide Promotion

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Stein Mart is supporting the Dignity U Wear Foundation (DUW), a national nonprofit that distributes brand new clothing it receives from apparel manufacturers, distributors and retailers through a network of nonprofit social services agencies, with its "Help Us Help Others" special promotional event planned for all 267 Stein Mart stores throughout the country.

Beginning Friday, April 23, through Sunday, April 25, Stein Mart shoppers making a donation of $5 or more to Dignity U Wear will receive 10% off their entire purchase. This is over and above Stein Mart's already low discounted prices -- including sale items. Shoppers will also be able to donate $5 or more to Dignity U Wear in advance of "Help Us Help Others" through www.steinmart.com, and will receive three coupons for the 10% off entire purchase offer for donating in advance.  This will allow shoppers to either shop multiple times with the discount or share the shopping experience with friends.  

Stein Mart raised more than $205,000 for DUW with the same promotion in January.  Since 2003, the retailer has raised approximately $2.7 million to help fund Dignity U Wear. The funds raised help Dignity U Wear to meet the growing demand for new clothing that improves self-esteem, fosters better school performance, helps adults with job placement and helps parents take better care of their families.
