
Sterling Bank Promotes Pamela Lovett to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Community Affairs
HOUSTON, Nov. 5, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling Bank announced that Pamela H. Lovett has been named Executive Vice President of Business Development and Community Affairs.
In her newly expanded role, Lovett will continue to oversee business development for the bank, including taking on management of the bank's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. She will also oversee Sterling Bank's community outreach activities, including further developing Sterling Bank's successful Women's Business Initiative (WBI) and UpGrading Texas Classrooms programs. These and other Sterling community initiatives have been recognized numerous times with the Cornerstone Award from the Texas Banker's Association.
Prior to joining Sterling she served as president of the Greater Houston Partnership's Economic Development Division from 1997 to 2006. In addition, she held sales management positions at AT&T and Lucent Technologies. She holds a law degree from South Texas College of Law and a BSBA with honors from the University of Arkansas.
Lovett serves on the board of directors of DePelchin Children's Center, Alley Theatre and Better Business Bureau, Better Business Bureau Education Foundation, Texas Bankers Foundation and Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce. She is on the advisory boards of the Junior League of Houston, Houston Technology Center and Association for Community Broadcasting. She is a Senior Fellow and former board member of American Leadership Forum. She is a member of the Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church.
