Stern Pinball Inc. Brings Pinball Back to Comic-Con International

MELROSE PARK, Ill., July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stern Pinball, Inc., the world's oldest and largest producer of arcade-quality pinball games, announced today it will be exhibiting at San Diego Comic-Con International 2014. Show attendees will have the opportunity to play Stern's newly re-released Iron Man Vault Edition machine, as well as the critically acclaimed Metallica pinball game. Fans will have a chance to meet Metallica's lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, enter to win exciting prizes and participate in Stern's fourth-annual pinball tournament at the Stern Pinball booth.

Stern Pinball will be located at the Stern Pinball, Nuclear Blast America and JSR Merchandising booth #503.

The annual Stern Pinball tournament starts tonight, Wednesday, July 23^rd, at 6pm at Preview Night at Comic-Con and runs throughout Thursday and Friday. Qualifying participants will be selected to return for the finals on Saturday, July 26^th, at 3pm.

In addition to the annual tournament, fans will have their chance to meet Metallica's Kirk Hammett, who will be stopping by the booth on Friday and Saturday for an exclusive signing. Stern will also be hosting a slew of giveaways, including a Transformers Signature Edition ESP/LTD guitar signed by Kirk himself.

Also at Comic-Con this year, Stern will be on site at the Kirk von Hammett's Fear FestEvil After Party, in conjunction with Scion A/V. The party, slated for Friday, July 25^th, is open to the public and will be at San Diego's F6IX club (RSVP required). Bay Area thrash legends Exodus will be performing with special guest (and founding member), Kirk Hammett, plus surprise friends.
