Steve Stengell Announces New Management Member for Encore Energy, Inc.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Sept. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Steve Stengell introduced the Company's most recent addition to Encore's executive management team.

William "Bill" Champion has officially been named the Vice President of Business Development for Encore Energy, Inc.

Mr. Champion has over 17 years of experience developing and marketing projects in the oil and gas industry through industry partnerships and NASD broker-dealers. Mr. Champion was Vice President of a privately held oil and natural gas exploration company for nearly 12 years between 1995 and 2007. Prior to working in the exploration industry, he worked for ten years with a Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company that supplied specialty chemicals directly to the oil and gas industry as well as the coal mining industry.

Bill's primary responsibility at Encore is to ensure a direct channel of communication from the field operations to industry participants, partners and investors.  He also serves in a role of public relations by attending and presenting at many industry functions, conferences and seminars.

Mr. Champion attended Western Kentucky University and has previously held NASD Series 63 and 22 licenses.

Mr. Champion resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is married with three children.
