Stockell Healthcare Systems Receives ONC-ATCB Certification for the InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information System

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stockell Healthcare Systems, Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end Patient Access and Patient Accounting software solutions for healthcare providers, is pleased to announce that its InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information System has been EHR Modular* certified as an ONC-ATCB compliant solution for both the Ambulatory and Inpatient categories.

Acute Care Hospitals, Specialty Hospitals, and Behavioral Health Facilities using the certified version of InsightCS® will now be able to apply the system's applicable functionality toward meeting Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for both Inpatient and Ambulatory care delivery.  

InfoGard, an ONCHIT Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ATCB), conducted the tests and granted certification of the InsightCS® system for four core Meaningful Use criteria (demographics recording for both ambulatory and inpatient care, advanced directives, and smoking status) and eight privacy and security criteria (general encryption, encryption of exchanged electronic health information, audit logging, access control, emergency access, data integrity, and automatic log-off).
