StorageCraft names Jawaad Tariq VP of Engineering

DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- StorageCraft^® Technology Corp., the intelligent recovery and backup company, announced today that Jawaad Tariq is its new vice president of engineering. Tariq, a 17-year veteran with a successful management record in high-performing software engineering organizations, will play a key role in enhancing the award-winning StorageCraft Recovery Solution.

With Tariq in place, CEO Matt Medeiros has now assembled a world-class management team. Since his arrival in January, he has recruited Marvin Blough as vice president of worldwide sales and Matthew Crumley as chief financial officer. These new hires complement the StorageCraft founders who remain on staff. The company's culture has evolved to one of speed, accountability and performance. Tariq, who came to StorageCraft from Fusion-io/Sandisk, will oversee the operations of the software development and quality assurance teams. Tariq received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
