Storie Apparel Announces Angela Jerman-Ormsby as First Brand Ambassador

CINCINNATI, Jan. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Storie Apparel, providing serious performance golf wear for junior girls, announces former LPGA tour player Angela Jerman-Ormsby as first brand ambassador. In her role, Jerman-Ormsby will represent the Storie Apparel brand by encouraging the growth of girls' junior golf while inspiring and engaging current players in their enjoyment and success in the game.

About Angela Jerman-Ormsby

Jerman-Ormsby is no stranger to junior golf having won both a Georgia state individual and team championship in high school while ascending to the second-ranked national junior player. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she received numerous accolades as a member of the golf team including being named South Region Freshman of the Year in 1999, SEC Golfer of the Year in 2002, NCAA All-American (1999, 2001) and the All-SEC Team and All Academic SEC Team four years in a row. She helped lead the Bulldogs to two SEC championships and a national championship in 2001. After graduation, Jerman-Ormbsy competed on the LPGA Tour for seven consecutive years.

Since retiring from the LPGA Tour in 2010, she has served in numerous roles contributing to the betterment of junior golf including with The First Tee and U.S. Kids Golf. Jerman-Ormsby currently serves as head women's golf coach at Point University located in West Point, Georgia.  She also  teaches at Highland Country Club in LaGrange, Georgia,  where she helped start a junior golf program.
