Straight Talk Wireless® Donates Over $1,000,000 to Make-A-Wish® for Third Consecutive Year
"Give A Minute, Help Make-A-Wish®" Initiative Draws More Than One Million Participants
PHOENIX and MIAMI, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading U.S. no-contract cell phone service provider Straight Talk Wireless® donated $1,002,147 to Make-A-Wish today as a result of the successful "Give A Minute, Help Make-A-Wish®" program. During the month of September across 3,000 Walmart stores nationwide, $1 was donated to Make-A-Wish for every consumer who took a minute to receive a Straight Talk Wireless demonstration and learn about their no-contract cell phone service.
Along with consumers giving a minute in-store, an online campaign also allowed anyone to share Make-A-Wish videos on social media and trigger a $1 donation.
