Strategas Establishes Agency Equity Trading Desk; Hires Senior Salesman Patrick Alwell as Director

NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategas Research Partners LLC, a leading investment strategy, macro-economic, policy research, and technical analysis firm, today announced that it received FINRA approval for its broker dealer license and has established an equity trading desk. Strategas undertakes securities business in the name of its wholly-owned institutional broker-dealer subsidiary Strategas Securities, LLC.

The firm, which will begin executing trades in early March, has hired two senior sales traders, John Ghize from Lazard, and Tim Hughes from Arnold & S. Bleichroder, to lead the effort.  John Ghize will head the firm's trading desk.
