
Strategic Holdings Group, Inc. Acquires Buzzskin, Inc.
BRUNSWICK, Ohio, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Buzzskin is a company that is a leader in the online marketing and sales of upscale men's grooming products including; facial, shaving and anti-aging products from the industry's leading high-end male grooming brands including; Baxter of California, Menscience, Balla Powder, Sharp's, Jack Black and Urth.
Strategic Holdings Group, Inc. and Buzzskin, Inc. today announced that the companies have signed a definitive agreement under which Strategic Holdings Group, Inc. will acquire privately held Buzzskin, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Buzzskin, Inc., based in Aliso Viejo, CA., is an aggressive addition to Strategic Holdings Group's business. The acquisition will extend Strategic's online presence and is the company's first consumer based online retail business.
Strategic will build upon Buzzskin's high-end male-grooming brand, which already has a strong presence online, with a large existing customer base. They also plan to aggressively grow their new customer acquisition through online, e-mail and affiliate marketing and public relations. Buzzskin's aggressive stance might signal that it wants to "own" the category.
