Littman, of Ambler, Pennsylvania, was recognized as a 2014 Professional of the Year by Strathmore's Who's Who for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Oncology. She is to be honored with a Times Square, New York City appearance on May 15, 2015.
Dr. Susan J. Littman was born in Oak Park, Illinois. She earned her B.S. at Cornell University and her M.S. in Molecular Biology at SUNY Albany. She graduated from Albany Medical College in 1989 and completed her residency and internship at the University of Texas Southwestern. She also completed a fellowship with Duke University Medical Center and is Board Certified in Oncology. Dr. Littman is currently associated with Rose Tree Medical Associates in Media, Pennsylvania where she treats patients for many types of cancer and blood-related disorders, as well as general internal medicine. She has many skills and expertise not the least of which is gastrointestinal and hereditary cancers. Dr. Littman has been associated with numerous hospitals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area; she was also assistant professor at Duke University Hospital, and was an Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at Jefferson Medical College-Thomas Jefferson University (now known as Sidney Kimmel Medical College). She is also associated with Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. She has a professional membership with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Pennsylvania Society of Hematology Oncology (PSHO).
