Stuart Itkin Joins Visual Mining as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

ROCKVILLE, Md., March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Visual Mining, a leader in performance management and data visualization solutions, announced today the appointment of Stuart Itkin as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Itkin brings more than twenty years of sales and marketing leadership success; commanding a wealth of experience in developing strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth. He will be responsible for expanding Visual Mining's global sales strategy; developing and implementing effective strategic initiatives, and overseeing all sales and marketing operations for the organization.

Prior to joining Visual Mining, Mr. Itkin was Chief Marketing Officer at the Corporate Executive Board, where he directed a major global branding initiative and helped revamp the company's go-to-market model to align with evolving customer needs.  As former Kronos CMO, Itkin led its transformation from products to solutions, helping drive over $200M of revenue growth and playing a key role in its acquisition by private equity.  Prior to Kronos, Itkin provided marketing and sales leadership for several highly successful, high-growth software and technology companies including Symbol Technologies, PSC, and Zebra Technologies, establishing these companies as leaders in their respective markets.  Itkin holds a BA, and MA from the University of Illinois and is an ABD in applied statistics and quantitative methods. He frequently speaks at seminars and conferences worldwide on challenges, opportunities and trends in arenas of technology, marketing, and business performance.
