Establishes new social media practice

With more than 10 years of strategic marketing expertise, Chen will lead the practice. He specializes in the online marketing space, including social media, search engine optimization and e-mail marketing. His more notable achievements include:

- Provided consultation to more than 20 organizations around social media, resulting in campaigns that have been covered in CBS2News, WIRED magazine, Chicago Parent and Chicago Tribune
- Founded an online social community (www.savvydaddy.com) for new dads, where he launched and managed social media assets that resulted in 8,500+ fans on Facebook and over 2,500 followers on Twitter
Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Margie Mandli, Marketing Strategist
Mandli has 20 years of public relations and marketing communications experience ranging from strategy development to tactical implementation and measurement. With most of those years spent at a premier health care company, Mandli has experience in executive and employee communications, change management, public relations and brand identity. Mandli will identify and implement content strategies to help maximize social media presence both for StudioNorth and its clients. Mandli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Therese Matthys, Social Media Specialist
Matthys has more than 10 years of experience in marketing. She co-founded two non-profit organizations, implementing many diverse marketing approaches. Matthys will assist clients in planning and implementing social media marketing strategies to increase their virtual presence. Matthys is a pending graduate from Columbia College of Missouri, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, management and international business.
