Photography is a passion that has burned inside me for well over 20 years and I continue to grow and learn with the ever changing trends. 

Students who have taken my courses over the last few years have come away with greater self confidence in their photographic capabilities along with a more defined purpose of pursing their photographic vision. 

Recently I focused my energy on a project which pushed my creativity to new limits. This project involved taking an image every day for a year. At the end of that year, I designed a book and published all 365 images. The book was a success and many copies were sold. 

My newest project starts January 1, 2013. It will be called the 1000 Day Project and will take my creativity to new heights as I attempt to take a "different" image every day for 1000 days. The images will be uploaded to my Blog and to other social media web sites such as Facebook. Despite my hectic travel schedule I will endeavor to upload an image every day for 1000 days. The challenge is something I am looking forward too. It will push me to get out there, no matter the weather or other factors.

The second project I will also be working on will be the continuation of one I started a few years called Imagine. I originally focused this project on travel web sites, park and natural resource agencies and so forth. The purpose was to show images from Canada and instill into people the desire to "imagine" what it would be like to be standing in the very spot where that image was photographed. One of the purposes of this was to instill into people the desire to discover not only Canada, but perhaps their very own backyard.
