SAN MATEO, Calif., April 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, SuccessFactors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFSF) announced that it has signed its first joint customer, The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP), with Inform, the global leader in analytics and workforce planning.

Since SuccessFactors' announcement of intent to acquire Inform earlier this year, both companies have been working closely to deliver customers solutions that help with the most important imperative in business today: how companies execute. McGraw-Hill is the first joint customer and chose SuccessFactors' Business Execution (BizX) Suite to work strategically with Inform's workforce planning and business analytics solutions to execute against company objectives, improve companywide visibility and drive maximum business results.

With employees across 40 countries and 280 offices worldwide, McGraw-Hill will go live on nine different modules from the SuccessFactors BizX Suite, including Compensation Management, Employee Profile and Performance Management. In doing so, McGraw-Hill will replace its former point solutions with SuccessFactors' tightly-integrated suite of modules to lower maintenance costs while making data more actionable and improving visibility across the company. Further, Succession Management and learning and development will integrate data from the BizX platform to both identify and retain top employees at every level of the company, as well as improve career development processes within the McGraw-Hill organization, to cultivate talent for key positions in the future.
