Sue Wong to Participate in Denver's Flight to Luxury Hangar Party

DENVER, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flight to Luxury, Denver's Red Carpet Hangar Party on September 14, 2012, will feature a couture fashion show with guest honoree Sue Wong as part of an evening filled with entertainment and cuisine, all for a great cause. The 3^rd Annual Flight to Luxury is presented by Cuvee Ventures and Jet Linx Denver to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.

Sue Wong will make her inaugural appearance in Denver as part of the event's premier fashion show. "I intend to really have a great show and it's going to be a lot of fun," said Wong. "It is always nice to be able to have the luxury of donating my time to these shows, because they are for a good cause." Wong will be presenting her Fall 2012 themed collection, Autumn Sonata.

Former Fashion and Special Events Director from Saks Fifth Avenue, Cynthia Petrus, will produce the show highlighting Wong and Denver retailers. Flight to Luxury is an event that is inspired by travel, and the show will be no exception. "I am inspired by beautiful places and I am inspired by nature," said Wong. "A beautiful place like Paris is very inspiring to me, [and] I think you get a broader perspective on life and on art when you travel."

Cherry Creek North's Mariel Boutique secured Sue Wong's eveningwear for the show. In addition, other boutiques showcased are fellow Cherry Creek retailers Andrisen Morton, Marks-Lloyds Furs, and Alicia The Boutique, Goldyn in LoHi and Cry Baby Ranch in Larimer Square. Hair will be done by William Whatley, celebrity stylist for Scruples Hair Care and makeup by Jaeger Stander and Michael Moore.

Flight to Luxury also features live music from Grammy performer Maestro Hughes, cuisine by Denver's top-rated restaurants including Del Frisco's, Linger and The Kitchen, and a live and silent auction. The evening showcases exotic cars, private jets from Jet Linx, and couture villas from Cuvee. The event will be held at Centennial Airport's Signature Flight Support Hangar.

While Flight to Luxury lends the certainty of a special evening, the primary objective is to raise $400,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs by uniting the Denver community in support of a life-changing mission: Allowing Denver's youth the opportunity to succeed.
