SummerJasmines Announces Launch of Compactable Evening and Pedicure Shoes for the Woman on the Go

RIVERSIDE, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Women have a new solution for the age-old problem of uncomfortable high heels and the dreaded disposable pedicure shoes. Alissa Kraisosky, who designed and created the shoes, has a background not in fashion but in the medical field. "I was simply trying to walk back to my hotel during a convention in Las Vegas. My feet were killing me, but there was no way I was planning on walking barefoot along the Las Vegas strip. I ended up taking two hours to get back to the hotel ... wishing with every step there were shoes I could pull out of my evening bag and just wear immediately." The idea was then set in motion.

"I had no clue about what to do, or who to contact ... I simply had an idea in my mind of what I wanted them to look like. I also wanted them to be stylish and durable enough that they could be worn daily."

After two years and many revisions, the comfortable crystal-studded SummerJasmines were born. The sandals, which easily fold in half, are sold with a satin bag that can easily double as a wrist clutch. The shoes are also designed to separate each toe, eliminating the need for the disposable flipflops at the pedicure salon. "Slide them on right before you get a pedicure, and then just walk out of the salon - no need to wait anymore for your polish to dry."

The shoes are currently sold in four colors: black, silver, gold and red. Kraisosky plans on debuting her additional styles, including a bridal and bridesmaid design, at the FN Platform Las Vegas Convention Center; Las Vegas, Nevada; August 17, 18 and 19.
