Summit Global Investments Adds Two New Hires, Celebrates Continued Growth
The investment firm adds two new team members as asset growth continues.
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Global Investments (SGI), an SEC-registered investment adviser, continues to significantly grow by expanding its team with two new hires, Senior Analyst Gautam Baid, CFA, and Senior Portfolio Manager Aash Shah, CFA.
In their new roles, they will work with the firm's investment team to serve clients through SGI's low volatility portfolio construction and management processes, which seeks to help investors de-risk and diversify their equity returns.
Both gentlemen bring valuable experience to the firm, with an average 14+ years in banking, investments and portfolio management. Before joining SGI, Mr. Shah was a senior portfolio manager for KeyBank. Prior to that, he spent 20 years as an investment analyst, and then vice president and portfolio manager, for Federated Investors and Federated Kaufmann, successfully launching and managing both large and small cap mutual funds. Mr. Baid recently worked as a senior analyst for Deutsche Bank, and preceding that, Citigroup, spending time in their respective London, Hong Kong and Mumbai offices.
