Summit Place Kia and Auto Credit Express Host Charity Golf Outing for Veterans Treatment

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Prominent Michigan auto dealer group Summit Place Kia and national automotive finance consulting firm Auto Credit Express will be hosting a charity event to raise money and awareness for the non-profit Veterans Treatment Court.

A comprehensive treatment program, the Veterans Treatment Court works with U.S. military veterans who are struggling with alcohol addiction or substance abuse, giving troubled vets the treatment and care they need to once again thrive as active and productive citizens.

For the past several years, this charity golf event has served to raise both money and awareness for deserving non-profit organizations, including nearly $40,000 for the Waterford Youth Assistance organization in 2013.

As part of the event, a silent auction will be held to raise additional funds. Products and services donated by local merchants and companies can be bid on by those who attend.
