Sundyne Acquires Pressure Products Industries; Expands Compressor Line

ARVADA, Colo., April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sundyne announces the merger with Pressure Products Industries (PPI), a manufacturer of sealless reciprocating diaphragm compressors for the refining, petrochemical, chemical, LNG and semiconductor markets.

For over 60 years, PPI has engineered compressor packages renowned for leak free performance that deliver non-contaminating compression of critical gases. Built to comply with modified API 618 standards, Sundyne PPI sealless diaphragm compressors are exceptionally durable and reliable; load testing each shipped unit at their factory to ensure that it meets stringent performance benchmarks.

Sealless diaphragm compressors are ideal for cylinder filling, fuel cell technology, or transfer applications that require high purity or handling dangerous gases under pressure. Sundyne PPI sealless compressors are available in single- and multi-stage packages with displacements to 150 cfm (255 m³ / hr), pressures to 17,000 psi (1170 bar) and up to 250 HP (187 kW) of power.
