
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Patrick W. O'Neill has been appointed controller of Sunset Country Club. The announcement was made by David M. Pendy, the club's general manager and chief operating officer.
O'Neill, 29, joins Sunset from the Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Illinois, and the Hawthorn Woods Country Club in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, having served as controller for both. Before that, he was a senior audit associate with two Peoria, Illinois accounting firms. He also served as an assistant professional at a golf course in Washington, Illinois.
O'Neill has a B.S. degree in business with an accounting major from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. Before that he attended Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois where he starred academically and on the college's soccer team.

Established in 1910 by Adolphus and August A. Busch Sr., Sunset is located in Sunset Hills immediately east of the I-270 and Gravois Road interchange.
