Sunset World Group Reaffirms Its Environmental Commitment by Celebrating International Beach Cleanup Day

CANCÚN, Mexico, Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of International Beach Cleanup Day, on September 17th, Sunset World Group once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental care and social responsibility by organizing a special day of eco-friendly activities at its hotels in Cancún and the Riviera Maya.

This important day was commemorated with simultaneous beach cleanups at most of its properties in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, with the participation of associates, guests, and members, raising awareness about the protection of our oceans and coastal ecosystems.

In addition to the cleanup activities, the hotels offered an entertainment program with an eco-focus. Some of the highlights included:

Although Sunset Marina is not located on the beach, it held activities such as the "Build Your Magical Beach" craft to raise awareness and engage the entire family, and eco-friendly body painting with a natural focus and conservation messages.

Double beach cleanup in the morning and at sunset with strong participation from staff, members, and guests, and a soccer game with pro-environmental messages.
