Sunshine Health And Orange Bowl Help Make Wishes Come True

SUNRISE, Fla., Feb. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunshine Health, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation, partnered with the Orange Bowl at the City of Fort Lauderdale Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown on New Year's Eve to create a special graffiti wall with messages of hope and compassion for the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.  The graffiti wall was presented to the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida today at their Broward County Walk for Wishes. The wall was unveiled and children in attendance were encouraged to leave special wishes on the wall for the Make-A-Wish children with life-threatening illnesses.

Sunshine Health commissioned Lindsey Vance of Washington, D.C. to design and complete the wall.  Vance is a Senior Art Therapist and Case Manager at Miriam's Kitchen D.C. who has worked in an array of community mental health settings as a Mental Health Clinician and Art Therapist.  She uses various mediums and some unconventional methods to heal, express, and give back through her artwork.
