Susan G. Komen® Chicago Battles Breast Cancer At The Lombard Race for the Cure
6th Annual Race Will Raise Funds for Breast Health, Care, Treatment and Support Locally
CHICAGO, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Registration for the Susan G. Komen® - Chicagoland Area (Komen Chicago) Lombard Race for the Cure is now open. The event will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Yorktown Center in Lombard, IL. To register or volunteer for Lombard Race for the Cure, visit www.komenchicago.org. Early-bird registration rates apply now through July 15th.

Participants can enjoy a 5K timed run, 5K untimed walk or 1 Mile Fun Walk, in addition to a variety of entertainment and activities. The event site will open at 6:30 am, and the 5K Run will begin at 8:30 am, following the Survivor Parade.
Last year, approximately 3,500 participants attended the Lombard Race. The goal for the 2015 is to raise over $300,000 on behalf of breast cancer.
