At present, Hongqipo Apple is also sold in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Beijing, and other cities, and it is so popular in the market that the supply of the apples cannot satisfy the demand. In addition to Akesu, Hongqipo constructed another production base in Kashi, 800 kilometers away from the farm. Currently, the Hongqipo Apple is sold all over China as well as countries and regions like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macao.

In 2011, the Akesu Apple was designated as a geologically important product, which led to great strides in creation of the Akesu Apple Brand.
