BROOKFIELD, Wis., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Symmetry today announced the availability of the integration between its award-winning ControlPanelGRC® software suite and ServiceNow, the industry's ITSM platform leader. The integration automates the processing of routine and repeated SAP change management requests, including transport requests, access requests and password resets. Existing customers running SAP on Symmetry's global cloud platform can access these capabilities through Service Connect, the company's ServiceNow-powered portal.
Due to the scope and complexity of their SAP environments, enterprise SAP administrators typically deal with numerous routine change management requests every day, such as onboarding a new employee, password resets for employees that cannot logon to the system or transports to roll out new system functionality. An enterprise SAP administrator is often required to put them through a predefined approval process that can take organizations days, and sometimes weeks, to fully process. Utilizing Symmetry's ControlPanelGRC® software capabilities, these routine requests can now be handled instantly through the ServiceNow integration within Symmetry's SAP cloud platform.
